Doggie Daycare – Exercise for Your Dog’s Body and Mind

  • At the OK Canine Corral, your best friend will enjoy supervised free play, socialization and love in our safe and fun Corral.  We have a secure outdoor space for your dog to enjoy running or relaxing in the fresh air and sunshine. The outdoor area is equipped with a secure vinyl privacy fence and high quality comfortable synthetic turf, which helps avoid grass allergies, bugs and to assist in keeping your pet clean!

  • A general play day at the Corral includes 3+ hour sessions in the morning and afternoon in climate controlled playrooms which are outfitted with rubber flooring.  This provides more cushion for your dog’s feet and joints than hard surfaces, and provides better traction. We are outside according to weather with your pets safety kept in mind.

  • We have cozy cots & blankets in the suites during nap time from 12-2pm. So your dog can enjoy a much needed (and vet recommended) rest between play sessions.  Plenty of cool fresh water is always available at multiple locations around the Corral, inside and out.

  • Our facility is equipped with webcams to allow every parent a sneak-peak into the daily activities of their pet as he or she makes new friends, plays, & socializes while you are away.

  • Our Daycare Supervisors all have previous dog handling experience. They are taught to constantly observe and interact with the dogs, with a focus on keeping the play nice and safe.  We also adhere to strict standards with daily sanitizing & cleaning, to ensure a healthy place for your dog to stay.

Why Doggie Daycare?  Here are just a few of the BENEFITS:

  • Dogs are active and social animals—they need to run and romp regularly. And for most dogs, the chance to play with other dogs is a joy like no other. A neutral territory like daycare provides an ideal setting for this.

  • Left at home for extended periods of time, dogs often don’t receive the physical exercise or mental activity they need on a daily basis. And busy owners can be just too dog-tired to give their dog enough exercise and play regularly. After a day at the Corral, expect your pooch to be the one who’s more dog-tired than you.

  • Destructive behavior, incessant barking, regression in housebreaking—these can be indications of dog who is lonely or bored. A safe, educational, and fun daycare environment can address these and other concerns.

  • Animal experts agree that socialization of dogs is a key to their well-being. A daycare is a great place for your dog to make new friends—of both the canine and human persuasion!

* If an injury or illness should occur while your dog is at OKCC, we would typically use your own vet (if in Norman). Our emergency on-call veterinarians are Park Lane Vet Hospital & Southwest Vet. After hours, we will use Animal Emergency Center (1/4 mile away). Feel free to ask more about this during your pet’s intake meeting.
